Hello world!

6 months ago my family and I started on a journey to being happier, healthier, and more responsible for our own bodies. It's not McDonald's fault I gained so much weight and I was ready to drop it.

Since then, we've begun a Whole Food, Plant Based diet, much like the Forks Over Knives diets that are available. This is where our inspiration came from.

This blog isn't to shame you for eating that Big Mac, because let's face it, we all need a quick meal now and again. This is simply to share the recipes that my family is using to get to a better state of health.

Now, I have some PICKY eaters. They have grown a bit more accustomed to some of the foods we eat, and have hated others. It's been a tough journey trying to please them. We have found a few things we have loved though and I want to share them with you! Many of my recipes are adapted from others or are recipes that I have repeated and enjoyed just the way they are!
